Lalla Salma, ex-wife of Moroccan King Mohammed VI and IT expert, wanted to create a European-African network to break down patriarchal structures. But Lalla Salma has been missing for some time now. Was she kidnapped? Is she deliberately hiding and continuing to work in secret? In any case, her initiative is urgently needed because now, after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which also marks the end of an era, there is an opportunity for fundamental change. As the clock ticks down to Elizabeth's state funeral, after which everything may remain the same, the Spanish queens Letizia and Sofia, as well as the duchesses Kate and Meghan, suddenly left to their own devices, attempt to mobilise other female royals and put Lalla Salma's plans into action. In doing so, they inevitably end up asking general questions, especially what it means to be a woman. How much have they themselves contributed to reinforcing traditional images, allowing themselves to be reduced to their function in the system, to clichés, their clothing, their bodies? And what can majesties (m/f/d) ultimately still achieve in a world that has long been ruled by tech oligarchs and against which perhaps only a cyber offensive of their own can help?

Lalla Salma is an ambiguous play within a play in which Letizia, Sofia, Kate and Meghan are themselves only roles from which the four actresses, accompanied by a director, repeatedly step out to grapple with contemporary forms of feminism, female solidarity and the looming return of «masculine energy and aggression».
