Dracula
New1F / 3M
Despite Google Maps, hipster couple Nelly and Mark get lost in the Romanian countryside and end up in a dilapidated castle. Well versed in pop culture, the two quickly realise that this is where Dracula lives. However, their encounter with the «Prince of Darkness» turns out quite differently than expected. At the age of 750 Dracula is a little worn out, and his faithful servant Igor has even become a vegetarian – today's blood is inedible thanks to too many chemicals. Ultimately, only the protection of humanity keeps the two undead alive. Stored safely in Dracula's cellar are the dictators of the past, from Genghis Khan to the Ceaușescus. Dracula and Igor realise just in the nick of time that Nelly and Mark's perfidious plan is to free them and that they are in fact the reincarnations of Mina and Jonathan Harper, who want to establish a new regime of terror in revenge for Dracula's old deeds ...
With song interludes and echoes of Dance of the Vampires or The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Peter Jordan catapults his Dracula into the present day, where the question arises as to who currently occupies the Oval Office or the Kremlin. The battle between good and evil is reversed here, culminating in a wild body-swap comedy with an uncertain outcome.
