The Climate (no pressure)

It's the mega event of the summer: the world's last iceberg is to be exhibited on the new coastline of the former inland country – an opportunity not to be missed! So they set off: two visionaries who happen to meet while boarding their rockets to Europe, a harmonious family flying to the iceberg by car (sweating but happy!), and a group of activists planning the last great uprising against the capitalisation of decaying nature. Above it all, with a final touch of euphoria, floats the sweet soundtrack of the most beautiful summer hits that tell of freedom. But time is running out, because it's hot, so hot, and behind the scenes, the great melt has already begun.

With dark humour and subtle situational comedy, Fayer Koch leads us straight into the escalation: The visionaries' still fresh friendship threatens to break down over the question of the main sponsorship, the family's happiness is suddenly shattered when the children realise that nothing less than their future is at stake here, and the activists become entangled in their politically and morally correct decision-making processes. In The Climate (no pressure), the struggle to do the right thing ultimately descends into a bizarre stalemate that throws the characters back on their own self-sufficiency, the only consequence of which is that all action comes to a complete standstill – while the catastrophe continues unabated.
