Germany may have reached the finals of the World Championship, but the governing “grand coalition” is in a crisis. That is why Vice-Chancellor Sigmar orders his boss Angela, as well as Ursula and Horst, to undergo group therapy. With guidance from a professional counselor, “Mutti” (as Angela Merkel is popularly called in Germany) is supposed to learn, in a family setting, that she cannot make every decision singlehandedly. And while the German national team fights for the title in Brazil (with everyone watching anxiously on their smartphones), a verbal battle ensues at home, with live polls providing the changing popularity rankings of the protagonists. The main focus of dispute is Angela’s policy on Europe – it is supposed to become more passionate. But the chancellor is already a few steps ahead of her opponents and pursues her own counter-strategy …
