Andreas Steinhöfel

Andreas Steinhöfel was born 1962. He works as a translator, reviewer, and screenwriter. But above all, he is the author of numerous, in many cases award-winning, children's and young adult books. For his book Rico, Oskar die Tieferschatten (published by Carlsen), available in English as The Pasta Detectives (published by Chicken House) he received, among other prizes, the Catholic children's book award and the German Children's Literature Award (both in 2009).
